A fantastic book that must be on the bookself for any OO/Java Architect. I reckon this book is better the Fowler's "Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture".

If you are doing something like this now, then you should read this book. Eric had done an excellect job to guide you how to develop rich domain model for large scale project.

Sitemesh

I tried to use Sitemesh for one of my project for MBF. SiteMesh is a web-page layout and decoration framework and web- application integration framework to aid in creating large sites consisting of many pages.

Sitemesh is a lot better the Tiles, however, Its documentation is very poor. It took me almost 4 hours to get the ParameterDecoratorMapper to work. I defined the ParameterDecoratorMapper after the ConfigDecoratorMapper in the sitemesh.xml.

After debugging of its source code, I found out that I have to define it before the ConfigDecoratorMapper.

Zizou , Au Revoir

Italy 1 France 1 (Italy win on penalties 5-3 )

Italy have won the World Cup for the fourth time after beating France 5-3 on penalties after the teams finished level at 1-1 in a dramatic final in which French captain Zinedine Zidane was sent off in extra time.

Bloody hell. All my flavour teams gone. France defeated Portugal by one goal. I don't like the french so I wish the Italian will beat them this time.

Germany lost

Sigh .... I still can't believe Italy scored two goals againt Germany in the final minute in extra time. I bet Germany and Portugal will be the winner of the World Cup and Portugal is my only hope now. Come on Portugal, kicks the french ass.

JBoss Seam

I've been using Spring on various mulit-million projects for almost 2 years now. I was facinated with it and I really love it. It rocks!!

I'm not sure is JBoss Seam can become a Spring competitor or not. However, It looks quite promising to me. Unlike Spring, It provides a statefull programming model using SFSB. I will give it a shot when I got some spare times.
